Ford 4610 Droplink Question

I have a 1988 4610 4wd. The track rod ends on the drop link are needing renewed, a photo of the drop link that is on the tractor currently is attached. I have a feeling that this is a non standard part as the track rod ends have been welded in and it looks like it current droplink has been made to fit

Has anyone come across a droplink like this on a 4610 before and what is the correct parts to replace it?

The blue drag link is correct for the tractor. The originals were crimped in ,when they were replaced they had to be slit with a angle grinder and chiseled open, the new ones put in and welded. When i replaced the track rod ends on mine those from a Ford 6610 2 wheel drive fitted just fine. with some doctoring.Your drop link picture looks about 2 inches shorter than mine.
Geoff Matthews Engineers near Chesterfield (tel 01246851118) offered to get me one and it wasnt silly money, but i was going again so didnt bother. He does have a web site so Email him the picture and see if he can still get one.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated

I`ll give Geoff Matthews a shout in the morning and see what they can do

I take it you used the normal weld in ends for the 6610 like these?

Cheers
