Ford 5030 Hydraulic problem

We have a Ford 5030 LP that has a hydraulic problem. Rear lift arms constantly correcting themselves with any sort of weight on the them. Also, after a couple of hours running it will only lift if you give it plenty of throttle. Seems maybe like an internal leak / faulty valve? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

When you have something on the back lift up and pull out external services button that will lock off arms if arms drop it's internal fault usually o-rings including piston ones, if it holds then something else.

Thanks for your help. Does a 1994 5030 have an external service button?

i assume you have a valve just in front of seat that you pull out for trailer tipping or have you got spool valves with two pumps.

You should have a small lever near floor next to diff lock pedal, if so this will lock off arms if twisted half a turn with arms up.

We have an older 5030 (1992) which has the lever near the floor but the later 5030 with the problem does not have this.
