Anyone done a radio swap on one of these and with what ? The one that is in is the old type with 2 separate dials and a faceplate. Where as all modern radio's seem to be fitted into a metal sleeve/box. Am loathed to cut the plastic trim to take the box but is this my only option these days??

I found a "retro-radio" on ebay - has all the fancy digital tuning, but has 2 spindles, was just what i was after for my County 1174

Yeah, I've seen those. Nicely priced for a yorkshire man too. They still seem to fit in a metal box tho, so would still have to cut out to take the box that the radio slides in and out of. May just have to go with it.

I have seen seen advertised "pod type" radios as used on golf buggies - and were sold to fit in older tractor cabs once upon a time (item 8)
