My 7740 SLE with asc lift arms go down a little, then up a little, this keeps going on and on, i have checked the manual, but before taking off the cab to do this job. Do any og you have experince and may know witch of the circled things it may be? It is not the assist ram selas, because there is no leak.

If you do decide to lift the hydraulic cover off,you do not have to remove the cab. Just remove the rear mount bolts and jack it up 2 inches at the back and watch for the front windscreen getting close to the bonnet as the cab tilts...

Pto solenoid holds the brake off it's main function is to allow oil pressure via a valve to supply oil to pto clutch pack, it will be the brake band but it means top cover off and pto pack out.

You can reach tha pto band if you take the hydraulic pump out. The choice is if it leaks or the arms drop. So you can take two things at the same time

Never had the lift arms drop because of a hyd pump fault.
Yeah, i know. If you take a look at the picture i added up top, i intended to get answer about witch of the different things that may actually be the probelm. And that i wrote bout the hydr pump was because some lad has pto problems, and you can reach the brakeband from the hydr pump opening. Sp if the pump leaks, he could take it out instead of the top cover and do two jobs at the same time.
