Where does that leave us, is that good or bad?
I'm on a bit of a learning curve here .......................
Not really good or bad, as long as it runs. We're all at different places on the curve, somewhere near the bottom.
I'm going to look at a UK 8100 in January just to compare.

If I decide to put a 380 cubic inch engine (2714E or 2715E) back into this tractor, is there any reason not to put one in out of a wagon which has spent its life at 15degrees. I'll have the right sump etc and would alter the oil pickup etc.

Some say it'll be fine and some claim the wear will be in the 'wrong' place on the crankshaft. I'd think any wear due to gravity would be minimal compared to a piston exploding its way down the cylinder, pushing the con rod.

Just like to hear the wisdom ....
