That's sounds like more than £3,000...
8100s are all 2wd the 4wd version was 8200
it WAS county , i thought anybody with any intrest in old fords would know that, ffs i dont even like ford n knew
Slow, and fast. What else could you possibly need ?Too many reverse gears!
So going from 34 to 38 wheels is only 6% faster?View attachment 426222
These speeds on 18.4 34's. Now sits on 18.4 38's. plus 6%
8th gear seems to work too so has been un-blanked off at some point. Vroom!
Should do almost 40k, if the steering / brakes / clutch and driver can take it.
my mistake, diameter 6% more so circ almost 20% more, but tyres are baldish. So going from 34 to 38 wheels is only 6% faster?
I thought my sums said 12%
Good, that's better, I thought for a minute I had wasted £1k on a set of 38smy mistake, diameter 6% more so circ almost 20% more, but tyres are baldish.
40k then.
I'll need to do the axle pivots then!
In @oil barron attachment it says they have 8 reverse gears. The 8100 only have high and low reverse with a splitter in each making 4 in total.Slow, and fast. What else could you possibly need ?
Slow slow, fast slow, slow fast and fast fast are an absolute minimum.Slow, and fast. What else could you possibly need ?
And it says they can only lift 2000kg, that doesn't seem much for that size of tractorIn @oil barron attachment it says they have 8 reverse gears. The 8100 only have high and low reverse with a splitter in each making 4 in total.
And so many levers only an octopus can change gearSlow slow, fast slow, slow fast and fast fast are an absolute minimum.
Just 2 levers and a floor switch dual power. And so many levers only an octopus can change gear
Don't believe everything you read on the internet. And it says they can only lift 2000kg, that doesn't seem much for that size of tractor
Yes it just like them.Is it not like the 1000/ 600 series with high/ low on one lever, and 2nd/ 6th opposite reverse on another?

Just a 5000 with a six cylinder engine (I think)Is it not like the 1000/ 600 series with high/ low on one lever, and 2nd/ 6th opposite reverse on another?
