4 pairs = 8.I've maybe read it wrong but is that not showing 2 sets of 4 plates so therefore 8 plates?

Never knew that but I think when we were getting a new 4wd carrier bearing for the 5060, I think Colin (parts manager) told me that it was the same as a 40 series? An interesting fact for a fellow saddo
Apparently the PTO clutch pack on TLA /T5000s is the exact same as 1000/100/10s as are the brake discs
8200 is just a 4 WD 8100Nearly; it's a good running tractor, just rough round the edges, the pictures don't really convey how much rot there is. I don't think it has done a lot of hard work in its life.
So the 8200 had a stronger backend on them than the 8100. What are they like with turbos fitted?
Same brake discs from 4000 right up to 8340An interesting fact for a fellow saddo

No difference to Massey's then, pretty much same back end casting from fe35 to 399An interesting fact for a fellow saddo

The engine block series that weren't designed to be s structural part.Sorry excuse my ignorance but what do you mean by unstressed block?
To get the extra plate in on any pto ford clutch pack was to alter the top plate by getting one from fords or if yours was still good then just skim a few thou of that has been done since the first 5000 came out.More useless info..........
As I understand it,Countys and Muir Hills had 5 plate(10 counting the intermediate discs) pto packs fitted. My MH had anyway, although it's on a 4 plate now. Also thought the 7600 up had the 5 plates too, although the CNH parts only shows 4. Agriline are showing the 5 plate packs but I don't see them in Sparex or Bepco. Maybe hard to get now.Different outer housing and inner hub to allow for the extra plates.
My rowcrop tyres are wider than that now.View attachment 496548 View attachment 496554 View attachment 496556 View attachment 496558 This is of no help whatsoever......but any excuse to post pics.
