Hi All,
I've been loaned a Ford 8210 III tractor. I want to repair the lift. Trouble is there's not much in a the way of control box left. Where do I buy a replacement? Is there a way to bypass the electro link system with a manually one? What is the lever/lift control box/unit mounted on the inside of the right mud guard called?
Would really appreciate some direction.

System cannot be bypassed and box in cab should have two knobs a lcd screen and lift lever has a potentiometer, David King electronics can repair them but if parts are missing i doubt it can, also the other components all need to be in working order, the lcd screen shows position of arms and if in draft or position and will give fault codes.

Good luck with that, I needed a new unit in the cab on my Electrolift about 15 years ago, local main dealer had one left which I had.

Apparently the control box was based on the same thing in a Ford Granada that was being produced at the same time - no idea whether this helps.

That is processor which can be repaired, also used in early 40series pre-quad mod sle edc which could be dangerous when trying to attach implement and was only cured by different processor it was only after i spoke to Fords that we found out that it came from car side, all because the car never had edc !!!
