Anyone any idea what error code E26 is seems to come up just after starting up the water pump has just gone could it have something to do with that
Seemed fine before that went ?

Code E26 is ''engine rpm to high''. It would usually only appear during calibration of the clutch packs or hydraulic lift when a set engine speed is required.
The waterpump would have no direct link to the ecu but the engine speed is sensed by the alternator,driven by the belt that drives the pump..........Might be a connection in there somewhere?

Is this pre-quad mod or later and full edc instrument panel..

Check wiring and terminals on alternator, this is where rpm is picked up...

Well I'm hoping the water pump should be on it's way so nothing I can check really till iv got the new one fitted I know it's a quad mod but dont know much about it iv literally just bought the thing
