Ford front weights

Can anyone help me and tell me what series ford these have come off, presume the weight carrier is correct for the weights as they fit on it well.

Got them in the clutter corner of the yard and would like to sell them to someone who can make use of them.

10 series , worth a few £

Where is the most likely place for 10 series owners requiring some weights to be lurking?

600 series is when they started using those, the frame need some of the steel extras taking off at the back. Sold mine to a county owner as he had a county one to go at each end!

I'm no expert on blue stuff but I was told those weights were introduced during the 1000 series era. Were there different weights for 3 and 4 cylinder tractors? Or was that just the later weights?

By the time the 10 series came out they were onto the hook on ones.
There were 3 sizes of weights.
3cyl, 4cyl or 6 cyl.
20ish kg, 35kg and 45kg.
4 cyl are common as muck and becoming less wanted.
Little and big were rare when new so still command £1 per kg.

Not much I imagine, a real pain to put on and take off, in my youth we had a 7000 with 7 on it, stuck out nearly a metre

Look the same as the ones on my force 5000.

They retro fit back to the first 5000 made.
