Ford /NH 40 series

Bit the bullet and went for this. 2 wheel drive with a decent cab, in very nice condition, with a full set of weights- a cracking little tractor. The tractor spent the first day on the topper, turning on a six pence. She then spent her first night sat on her belly in a wet patch, waiting for a pull out....

No good without pictures :D

He made the mistake of leaving it here for a couple of days, might as well put it to use...

The 40 series came out without dual power to begin with but Ford soon added dual power and the clutch button on shuttle lever.
SL are the rare ones, export market likes them.
SL DP is normal, as is SLE.

Finally found the wires for disconnecting the 4 wheel braking on my 7840. I put the switch into the slot in the dash years ago but hadn't wired it up.

Grey and white wires that exit to right go to switch.
Best thing you can do to stop the ridiculous wear every time you brake. I did label the switch as a reminder. Remember to switch it back on in wet or slippery conditions.

The 7840 at work after it’s makeover, was a bit rushed at the end and not quite finished due to harvest being brought forward 3 weeks. Had to reuse its damaged nose cone after buying a ebay special and finding out it’s for a 4 cylinder :(.
Here’s it last night finished with the wheel paint hardly dry.

It looks really good, did you use the later NH Blue as it looks deeper than the "Ford" / early NH Blue when you look at the colour of the weight block?
