Local running with low range work checking stock 26-27mpg normal running 30ish best I've managed on a long run 34mpg

That's in a 2.5 tdci double cab XLT 2010 model.

Put 3t behind and foot to the floor it will be down to 20mpg on the way down to St Merryn.
No trailer and cruise control on motorway at 70 it will be 36mpg.

Not exactly the same comparison
We bought nearly 3 years old done 27,000 miles for £28k, not a lot more than a fully loaded new Ranger:eek: As a vehicle though its in a different league:)

You obviously drive very slowly and carefully.
Not really does about 25-27 around here on bad roads uphill and down dale, will easily do 35mpg on a run 70 plus on motorway on cruise control. . Low 20's with 3,5 tonne behind it

I had one and I don't recall ever seeing anything above 30 mpg, even on the motorway. Then again, I think my foot is the problem. I drive my Navara 2.5 in the same way. On the motorway I get high 28s these days.
