I’ve been notified that our 2019 Ford Ranger truck has been recalled due to a manufacturing technical fault that makes it go into limp mode, they said a technician can come out to fix it & will take about two hours…..(two hours of lost time when it’s fords fault will I get compensated for being off road for two hours) I’ve never encountered the fault since I’ve had it has anyone else had it happen?

After a phone call to ford customer services they have agreed to take my 2018 Ranger away to have the chassis assessed for reundersealing

even said they would drop me a like for like replacement off to use👍

there’s a ford internal service bulletin covering the chassis job in case anyone was wondering

oh and I got 4 new alloy wheels out of them last week as mine were delaminating

maybe ford aren’t as bad as I thought they were for looking after customers!
