I turned up on the doorstep of our old 7810 on Sunday. I left my number if they ever want to move it on.
I might pop back in a few months when I'm passing again.

It would be nice to re-unite them.

Side loading from a self propelled, have 25 acres 1/2 a mile down the road, have 3 carting from there, just the contractors two in the fields at home.

Does anyone here know has a ford 4610 series 3, 1990, with an ap cab have shiftable pto speed 540/1000 in the cab without having to change the actual shaft itself? And would a 4wd 4610 with front loader be able to lift a round bale, providing it wasn't wet silage etc. tia

@cfr1964 will more than likely know about the PTO and yea a 4610 4wd will be fine for front loader work

I dont think a 4600/10 can have a 1000 rpm pto shaft in any method other than a slip on adapter, which will run at 540 anyway.

Gen II 540 rpm only.
Not sure about Gen III.

Don't think there were many gen III improvements to the 4610 as the 30 series were introduced not long after
But in answer to the question they didn't have shiftable PTO speeds in cab
And yes a 4610 will lift a round bale nae bother

Totally different back end, the 2 speed on that axle became an option on Q cab models . We got one without asking on a 7600!

hi all, i'm well on now with the 8210, but i'm after a rocker box cover, had one on order from ford dealer 3 months now, and still no nearer getting one, so i'm hoping someone may just have a spare one I can buy. photo is before I started on her, will post some of progress later ...
