Ford TW 25 - Should I buy one?

What are these old TWs like ? Any common faults and problems? Wouldn't be working hard , just need a tractor urgently and this one came up for sale. Looks neat for its age.

Yes it looks tidy. This lad has one if you look on his channel there's quite a few videos about his TW25 including this one that might help you,from what i gather they're not very quick on the road but pull like a train when working on draft a duties http://youtu.be/zYuB5SHRxPw

Although just noticed on the picture that it looks like it might have had it's air to air intercooler removed for some reason, which should be sat behind that grill at the rear section of the bonnet, so it may be slightly down on power without it fitted

Me too. I was surprised it was an open cab until I saw the OP's location.
I drove one many years ago and that engine just screamed like a jet. Strong tractor mind, I was pulling a 7 leg subsoiler.

There was a tale about here not many yrs ago about a TW 25 crashing through a parlour ceiling. Tiz written that the TW clutch failed whilst buck raking. Driver said the clutch are weak on the TW range!!! Only excuse I suppose. Great range of tractor The TW range The big COOP farm at Weston had the full range I recal .

Its a proper tractor with ROPS, none of this tin framed glasshouse nonsense!!!
