Fordson Power Major "Brutus"

Hi.

(Admin, if this post is breaking any rules, please feel free to delete it. Cheers!)

This is my first post here, been lurking a little before registering, and from what I have seen hereto, its a really interesting corner of the internet :)
I'm a Norwegian, borne in the northern part of Norway, but moved "south" in pretty young age...And since then I've been pretty "stuck" here.
Been working as a mechanic for 24 - 25 years, both on and off-shore.
Reaching 50'ish I felt I had grown up enough, to purchase a tractor-project, and the lucky winner was a Fordson Power Major, resting calmly in the corner of a grassy field in Lørenskog, Viken county, Norway..Until I came along, thinking bringing home with me, a Power Major with Horn-Draulic front loader and a HamJern backhoe, was a splendid idea..
Long story extremely shrunk down: I started to "atomize" the Major in 2019, pre-Covid, and finished it (finished'ish) in August this year. I do not mean to be rude, but I am taking me the liberty to share my YouTube channel here for "everyone" to see. I tried to document what I did aong the way, and have posted a bit of videos (with new ones planned) to show (in a rather unorthodox way) how one
could refurbish a Fordson Power Major. No ads, no "buy this and that", just a middle aged Norwegian (from time to time) in exhaust ;)
I love the tractor, and especially since the owner passed away this spring, I feel it's important to tell the world, the "Brutus" is around, and Power Major it is...That backhoe is frighteningly strong!

I'm slowly working through your videos. Don't worry about offending us with jokes. The Norwegian and British ( and our convict cousins in the southern hemisphere) sense of humour are very similar, we 'get' your jokes and funny comments. There are plenty of old farts messing about in sheds here.

Your tractor is amazing.
If you put the make and model of your tractor in your video titles it will be found on Youtube searches by the very active classic tractor restoration community more easily.
Thanks a lot for kind words and for a great tip. I will fix it per Your description (when I get home from work 🙂)
