Foreign Agents Infiltrating Social Media

Be aware that we never know who people are when they appear on social media. There are are evermore agents or sympathisers of malevolent foreign powers seeking to spread damaging misinformation on many different social media platforms. I have no definitive proof nor the time to investigate further but I would say there are most probably some posters on here who fall into that category. The occasional grammatical error generally gives it away and the sheer amount of time they seem to have keep on plugging the same false information. I am not entirely certain but I have my suspicions. I will leave it at that. Make your own minds up.

But quite a few of us know each other in person. For example in the uk my wife worked for neilo's father and I bought a landrover off ex farmer , among others. Even BobK has visited our farm here, both myself and czechmates. And muckspreader farms up the road and we share a combine and drill. You can see us in pictures from France thread.

Indeed. The perfect grammar and punctuation of the “natives“, really does show up the “agents provocateur“ in this establishment. 🥱

Never underestimate the lengths certain regimes will go to in order to sow gradual creeping dissent that damages the country. That’s the price we pay for open access social media.

Well the amount of damaging anti vaccination tripe I read on here would suggest that the posters are either
a) just morons

or

b) intent on damaging the country and costing lives either at the behest of internal or foreign subversive powers.

I think it is a genuine problem for some fora, but probably not so much on here for reasons given above. I know of some who are neighbours or close by and a few others by 'reputation'. Plus I'm related to at least two on here - though they lurk more than post - and have met and / or done business with half a dozen others who are a bit further away.

But don't underestimate the attempts at mischief that some will make the most out of purely on a personal basis, for whatever reasons...

There has been a long history of political infiltration/financial support of minority campaigning organisations around the world - but the farming forum? We spend most of our time complaining that we have no political clout - who would bother?

And as for the premise that poor grammar and spelling are an indication of sinister foreigners - the use of the English language on this platform is often pretty poor from the natives. (Which I haven’t a problem with - not too many grammar nazis bother us). Much of it is due to fat fingers, predictive text and a wish to leave school as early as possible some decades ago...

Yes I've noticed nearly 95% on here want us to farm in certain ways that will only line the pockets of the Multinationals that are the very ones who want to destroy us (y)

I didn’t explain myself very clearly. We all make grammatical mistakes from time to time. However the grammatical mistakes made by native speakers of the English language are subtly different to those made by nationals for whom English is a foreign language. It’s just about possible to determine someone’s nationality from the sort of mistakes they make in their use of English.
Analysing people’s output on social media it’s quite apparent they are nothing like who they say they are. Well I have my suspicions anyway. I’ll leave it at that. Or maybe the heat is getting to me!

I think any EUrophile complaining about anything Russian-related in the UK - and there most definitely are things that should not be allowed - should be equally critical of their fellow EU minions and of the Fatherland itself. There are a hell of a lot Russian billions knocking about in EU banks, passports being handed over left, right and centre and, of course, Mrs Merkel's being under the thumb of Mr Putin due to gas. That last being a realistic, but nonetheless revolting, reason for the EU abandoning Ukraine to its fate... :( And there is, of course, much more.

Well, I am actually pro vaccine, had both my jabs and believe in Covid-19. It's just I know people who are the opposite and some of the 'mis information' they come out with.
What I am concerned about is curtailment of free speech, e.g. taking down of You Tube video's that do not tow the party line or loss of choice, e.g. app frameworks being added to your phone without your permission. I am a strong believer in the right to freedom of speech, even if I personally do not accept what is being said, provided it is not designed to cause actual offence to anybody I believe it is a basic right in this country.

p.s. hope my grammar is ok in this post, just remember I am just a Debon bay.

Well, a lot of oligarchs live in London , and the UK left the EU before the new anti money laundering Banking rules came into force.
Rishi won't agree to comply which is part of the reason for going Singapore on Thames.
Go figure.

Wow , good job we went , be buggered without dirty money here ,
