More importantly, you only need to trip, stumble, miss place your foot in a bucket and you could very easily fall. It would be quite difficult to fall out of a man basket.Hard for passer buys to tell if man cage has been tested, where as with a bucket all it takes is a camera phone photo to HSE.
Forklift ,Handler and tractor loader should be tested once every 12 months ,but if used with a man basket it must be 6 monthly
Didn't realise a FEL required a test certificate...
Bale spikes, muck forks/grabs, buckets, flat 8 grabs etc etc should all be tested but I guess 99.99% aren’t.Anything that lifts anything should be tested.
Jacks, straps, chains, hoists, shackles...
How frequently does the usual grain bucket "lifting equipment" need to be tested....
Man died not that far from here last Autumn in a potato box falling from fork truck. Don't be casual about working from height.
Offer away, you won't offend me, I'm selling it on behalf of a friend. Just so happens I sell manitou brackets as well!! I'm sure a deal could be swung!!Thanks for links spin cycle & mad welder, they look good but by the time I’ve collected & cut brackets off & brought & welded new ones on I’d either have to insult you with an offer or just buy new!!
If they were nearer with manitou brackets would be ideal !!
Think I may go either new weaving or covenbrook with brackets on ready?
Cheers dh
