Looking to change the forklift and looking at 5yr warranties and service plans. Current machine has cost £1.92/HR in services and repairs over almost 7yrs @ 850hrs a year.
What are people's feelings on them? As machines get more complex is stump up the cash or wing it??

Big services by dealer wee services by myself. I thought it was ok no major problems as yet with this one old one used to eat the internal boom pipes every 300hrs at £1k a pop mostly time... Did it 4 times so sold it.

What will the warranty cost? Servicing seems to be getting very expensive so if figures close it’s an obvious choice

Servicing is a lot more expensive. No matter what you buy. Even using aftermarket approved filters and oils it pricey
