I have no idea what this means nor what the implications are for cranesbill...

How much does Astrokerb do? It seemed to curl it up at the time and looked as bad as the mayweed initially.
Astrokerb has hit cranesbill hard here but whether it will recover its hard to say as I have never used it before. Most of it was the size you mention @Feldspar . Its mullered thistles (main target) as it should and the only other main weed in the field which is speedwell its tickled up but I think it will survive which is no problem. The propyzamide bit seems to be working too on the few late barley volunteers the fop missed and on the BG.

Astrokerb certainly curls cranesbill, and will give some control. A lot will grow back in the spring, unless the crop is very competitive with the weakened cranesbill. Where I've used astrokerb for mayweed I've probably seen 30-50% control of the cranesbill. Really good on mayweed though, and applied when you'd be applying propyzamide anyway, takes away the potential Galera/shield, 1st March, can I travel, are the flower buds visible, are conditions good enough for it to work etc, headache.

Muppet cranesbill question.
What has caused it to explode?
Is it not killed effectively in cereals?
Does it have a very dormant seed like blackgrass?
Although only an onlooker it looks a real cause for concern in rape.

With Belkar now it has an effective control solution. Cranesbill can be a weakness of some of the SU chemistry. Can get through beans too. Enough that it seems to hang around. This year has been the worst for BLWs that I can remember for the last 5+ years. Dry summer meant it didn't germinate in the previous crop.

It's one of those weeds which seems to be a missing part of the spectrum in many crops. Seems to grow anywhere and you are never sure why. Seen it in maize and cereals many times, but seems to be less of an issue in winter cereals.

Er, max dose is 1 litre. Max total dose is 1.5 litres on the 3 current SOLAs for Fox, Belstone & Diode.
Yes, sorry I meant 0.5 L/ha + 1.0 L/ha. There are various discussions as to whether it is best to go with the higher rate first or second. Some people say the first dose sensitises the charlock and then the second dose finishes it off.
