But according to the little red book of Brexit, “YOU control your borders”! Seemingly Brexit meant “taking back control”! Why the fudge pay Frog to do your own job?
Did I miss something?
And while you are taking control of your own border, don’t forget to drive your own trucks, and pick your own tatties, and serve pints for Tim Weatherspoon Brexit Martin, and staff your own hospital wards with your own nurses, and, and, and, and infinitum. Blah, blah, blah, take back control…..

If the French authorities wanted to stop migrants crossing the channel they could, their radar surveillance could pick up the smallest vessels leaving the coast. They are just paying us lip service and have no intension of stopping the migrants. How our government could be so stupid as to trust (again) the French is beyond words. Perhaps if our border control vessels were to pick up the next boat load just inside French waters for "safety" reasons and take them back to France it would at least shame the French into some half measure at least.

It's not France's job to stop people leaving the country. I suspect they just look on the £62 million as yet another Brexit bonus. But with the added benefit that the UK now as a third country cannot return illegal immigrants to them.
Yes, it is their job under both their own law and 'international law' - which doesn't exist - meaning due to their EU and other treaty obligations.

Err... yes, the UK can return the illegal immigrants if it chooses to do so, it's merely political cowardice / expediency preventing our Government from doing so; you really need to read up on the 'international law' surrounding it. (y)

if france is such a good place to live why are people so desperate to leave?
Go to 21:54... (y) :ROFLMAO:
