With no ID or passport perhaps.
But, but, but, you are in control of your borders. HMG’s government shall jolly well say who comes or passes in any direction through that border. It’s written in the Brexit articles of association. Therefore it’s jolly well true.

Have you ever tried to board a flight or a boat to someone else’s country without ID? Emigration would not allow it, unless of course the country of departure was only too pleased to get rid of you.

There is no checks from "emigration" or any other representatives of the government when you leave a country. There are checks by the airline or boat company to confirm you are allowed to enter the new country, but only to avoid them being fined/ tasked with your repatriation to country of departure.

How do you leave illegally, unless you have already committed a crime. :scratchhead:

I'm not thinking about going to the travel agent and arranging a package Jolliday to Ibiza, I was more thinking about leaving the country under the radar, without going through customs etc.

Sneaking across the Irish border would be a piece of cake, or pay a fishing boat to drop you in France/Ireland. Seek asylum, then appeal when you get turned down. Could take a year or two to actually get deported back to the UK.

Where’s this Irish border you speak of?
