Free Calendar for everyone

I have absolutely no idea. I am neither official, nor was it an update, it was a simple statement of fact, including a typo. 'It did not happen'
As I said, no one is more peed off than I am, having spent hour upon hour of my own (to correct and earlier assumption by frankfarmer or whatever his name is today) unpaid time, trying to collate all the pictures and likes, and fashion something like what would have been a decent calendar.

Your efforts didn't go unnoticed @llamedos, and if someone as self centred as me noticed all the trouble you went to I'm damn sure others will have noticed as well. Thank you :)

for next years calendar,if there is one, I'd happily put a bit of money towards it,if some other tff suppliers are willing to do the same :)

Thats Fair enough, thankyou for the explaination.

Unfortunately it is not entirely accurate or the full story however

Although I would love to I am unfortunately currently (legally) unable to explain the real reason why this failed but one day when I can I will do fully

In the meantime I can only apologise on behalf of everyone involved for the lack of delivery

Carole did a great job and it's in no way her fault so please don't give her any stick about it all ! The sponsor we had also holds no blame and are as disappointed as members here and myself personally are that it has not happened

To be fair no one is actually paying for the calenders.
Our details are out there for people to find anyway

Look forward to receiving one hopefully before end of the month.

Have decided to try and get 12 good photos of our place and make my own calender next year

My niece is really good at putting together bespoke calendars and such like. Unfortunately high quality colour printing is so expensive it's only her and her mum who get to enjoy the results.

Sorry Llamedos, I dont want to sound a misery, but this thread was about the free calendar not being delivered, which has now moved off topic. I think you ought to start a new thread, which in my glass half full world we can keep on topic.
I thank you for taking up my suggestion, and enhancing it by adding the links to relevant topics :)

Sorry @Bloders I have no intention of starting a new thread nor continuing with a daily calendar, my post was firmly tongue in cheek.
Perish the thought I may take a grumble thread off topic by lightening the mood.

The calendars are still going to be produced and sent to those who asked for one, hopefully before the end of Jan.

The original 'deal' for the calendar was so bad commercially and from a data protection point of view that I simply could not let it go ahead. I tried to sort it out pre Christmas but we simply ran out of time.

I can only apologise for the delays
Thank you for respecting the data I sent to you. This is not easy and makes for awkward situations like this. I would like a calendar, but I am more grateful that my details are as private as I expected.

Damn good show.

@llamedos the amount of work you put in would have been unthinkable for me, and thank you.

Now just a small request, as you did all the printers work for them in layout terms, sorted out the best pictures including getting that famous photographer chappie to help could I ask one more favour?

Make a PDF that will print out on A4's that can be laminated so they can be hung on 2 hooks. One side the pictures you carefully curated, the other side the dates?

The TFF branding can be discreet [but there should be an offensive to forage trader version :)] - and you have the opportunity to use this at shows to demonstrate the downloads achieved. That will help explain why the 2018 calendar will be a hit and worthy of sponsorship?
