Just thought I would test Yorkshire Andrew's new trigger to alert him to free items.
Seriously, I want a small number of people in the UK to accept some fresh olive leaves by post and make their own Olive Leaf Extract (OLE) - very expensive if you buy it, but extremely cheap if you make your own.
I tried offering this via the Manflu thread (look up "Curing a Cold") but nobody wants to know. I already offer dried leaves of a range of plants to make tisanes (aka herbal teas) but am interested in adding OLE to my business. I need to know whether the fresh leaves arrive in a good condition. I believe they will, but need to be sure.
It is so simple to make that the cheapest way is to provide the leaves to customers and they add their own vodka. 40g of fresh leaves needs about a quarter bottle of vodka to provide a quarter bottle of OLE. Read the www for info on its attributes.
I want 3 or 4 people to make it and let me know how it turns out - the kit is incomplete because you pay for the vodka. I make no claims for the OLE, but the vodka is a good excuse to take a "heart starter" in the mornings. I just need a postal address. PM if you want to try it.
NB A "heart starter" for Aussie shearers is obtained in the local pub in shearing districts. These pubs open at 5.30 am and serve up a goodly amount of overproof Bundaberg rum to the shearers before they start their day. Similar cafes (no pubs as such) open up here at about 7 am for manual workers and serve up the same generous measures of aguardente, which is the brandy of whichever locality you happen to live. Some countries are sensible about alcohol.
