Free range MMB whats happening?

I don't believe anyone should be seeking to market a product using tactics so readily adopted by the Soil Association, namely, by smearing something in an attempt to make it appear inferior to the eyes of the consumer. I suggest the advertising standards agency would have something to say about product claims of that nature as well.

Sorry the point I was making was that we use all social media platforms and not just TFF, as such there is plenty of accessible info out there along with the option of registering for email updates - this is the most comprehensive, efficient and quickest way of communicating our activities. Unfortunately TFF attracted far more negative responses from producers than all other platforms combined, hence I will not engage in detailed discussions about the initiative on TFF.

For not wanting detailed discussion I can’t believe we’re on page 3 :stop::facepalm::D

Well we were told to watch Twitter and Facebook
I have looked on facebook as quoted above "the world doesn't start or end on TFF"
A post in september and before that in june.
I have looked on twitter last post on july 17th.
I'v been watching and as i said not a lot on there.
So where do we see this detailed discussion? I was asked last week "what's happened with FR?"
So I've asked the question but have no answers.

‘Twas kindof tongue in cheek

Nah, was just looking some guys sell milk direct, few were marketing on free range, and I thought I hadn't heard anything lately.

Interested in the number of vending machines for sale as well.

It always baffles me why we don't have any differentiation between milk and dairy products. Free range or similar for eggs, poultry, pork and beef but in dairy the only way for the consumer to guarantee 'free range' is to buy organic which, while suits some, is a fair leap in price for others. I think for some reason most of the public assumes free range in dairy. It would be interesting to know which way most people would buy, free range eggs now seem dominate in the UK but free range chicken maybe less so, very little logic in the choices made by the average British consumer!

There are 101 different dairy contracts and that's just at arla. I feel every piont of difference is already covered.

you've only got to see the Arla advert currently on TV which tells you all cows are 'free range' 😉
and therefore all milk is free range!

Don't shatter the public perception just yet, things are fragile enough.
just keep the message simple

Until the exposure on a TV program.

Didn't they get pulled up by the ASA on their organic advertising?
like I said, they are professional enough to know how far marketing boundaries can be pushed.
They will understand better than most, and have the resources to back them up.
Either way, their marketing of milk and dairy products is probably some of the best seen in the UK and all dairy farmers should appreciate that.
