Doesn't matter what what Trudeau does if the US doesn't remove its mandates on the border as well. Also worth remembering, that the people organising this seem to have been west coast white supremacists, just using this as an excuse to create political unrest. The Tuckers Union has always been outspoken against this action and the people organising it..
As with the protest here government are labelling the protesters with an array of tags in an attempt to discredit them, many are now seeing through this body of lies, thereby increasing the numbers prepared to go to parliament and stand up for their rights.

Oh quite likely.

But once a government makes a decision it can't keep changing its mind or else everyone will be out with a placade.

I thought Canada was dropping the mandates 1st March anyway. But come what may democracy must win not protests.
So if the majority are vaccinated and favour pointless restrictions on the unvaccinated ...?? That's democracy and that's ok?

Well up to the people in Canada.

Goverment will listen to health experts & check opinion polls & make a decision. If they get it wrong kicked out at the next election, seems fair to me.

I'm all for protesting but not blocking roads or affecting other people.

I'm talking about here in uk but also Canada.
The point is they don't get kicked out if they make decisions discriminating against a minority.

I suppose pointless to one person is been cautious to another.

ps Most I know gave up on Covid months ago, but most vaccinated. We will never know how many people have been saved by vaccines.

Its a shame poltics has come into the discussion, because it seems some are just listening to "Saint" Donald & his preaching.

We just had a snap election- Trudeau has a minority government. I wouldn’t say that on September 20,2021 he had the overwhelming support of Canadians. I think his currency has been further devalued by his recent behavior
Here are the results:
Canada

2019September 20, 2021

All 338 seats in the House of Commons of Canada
170 seats needed for a majority
Turnout62.25%

I think that is democracy, majority get what they want. Although often the majority are concerned about minorites eg If mobs started attaching a minority such as Asian owned shops, most people would want something done about it.
You think restrictions on unvaccinated are not popular among the vaccinated?
There's no public health reasons for such restrictions/mandates.
They will clearly not persist but are popular for now so they stay.

Personally I think the globalists went too soon as they panicked. Interesting that some of more recently formed or reformed govt's are still hanging on to this nonsense but it's my opinion that the idiots in charge of all of this greatly misjudged the reaction and have had to crawl back into their holes, temporarily at least.

Trudeau, Arden, Cranky, Drakeford etc. etc. etc. are just digging their political graves and they can't seem to see it.
