Freeflow return port on T7

Need to fit a 1” female return coupling on a T7.315, which is the best port to use ?
There is one on the top behind the top link but it looks too close to the top link for my liking

We've used the one behind the top link as you describe with no issues.

If it has a power beyond slice then the biggest port on that is free flow return.

It does need some sort of metric adapter to allow you to add a fitting though.

It does have a power beyond slice, but all that is a mystery to me. Can the flat face coupling be swapped out for an ordinary one or is an adapter definitely needed ?

I was told not to use the power beyond, we made one up to go in that blanking plate behind top link, on a case Puma but same same, did it on two tractors with no bother, make sure you have a bent bit of pipe pointing down into the back end

Power beyond return port is 30x2 or 2.5 metric. Easily avaliable from kramp and the likes. Another option is to tee into the remote valve return, big metal pipe on top of valve stack

I had the same issue and had to butcher a swept bend elbow to weld to the fitting that would angle the return flow down into the diff area.
Otherwise it flows straight through the breather. It was the most restriction free way to return the oil in large quantities.

when we tested the power beyond return we found a 5 bar restriction, I've never bothered to test another tractor. We use the plug behind the top link. Have made a goose neck fitting so the coupling is beside the top link rather than behind it.
