So Le Pen has been caught with her hand in the EU till, quel damage!!
I think you may be right with quel dommage but I don't think it will do her too much damage tbh. She's like a female Farage-esque wrecking ball. She won't get in but she'll take a lot of the vote.

If she did get really close, it may even be that the French will clamour for an EU referendum and then it will be game over.

You don t think the investigation in her party and as MEP might damage the perception voters have of her?
France main export country is Germany, I don t know how they would disentagle themselves of that.
I personally still don t have a clear idea of whether the EU is a viable body as it stands or not, has it run its course, what are the main issues, does it need to change or go completly? I m sorry I have to plea ignorance, on this issue.
But to me Le Pen is part of the same old corrupted system. Her political ideology and her father's legacy, the fascist and racist roots of her party will never make her acceptable to me. And I m sure I m gonna be told, my opinion does not count as I m not french:banghead::whistle:
PS I saw what you did with the damage/dommage wordplay(y)

More like leaving a domineering, nagging old bat {who is way past her sell by date and who has taken most of your money to spend on frivolities) and going into the world of internet dating where there is at least hope.
