Fresh concrete feeezing?

You stated there was 1 and half acres to do. 6000m2?
It took 60m3 to do 400m2.
You are looking at 900m3??? Is this a third Heathrow runway?
A few spoilt loads won't matter that much I guess.

No, just some commercial space. The bulk is down now, only a few slabs to go.

The total area is irrelevant, contracts were signed to supply goods to a certain standard. If they fall below I’m damned if I’m going to let it through. Told them it needs to see my kids out too.

I’m jolly impressed at your contractor for standing it all.

Must be frustrating all round though….always better to just do it once and do it right.

He subbed out the concrete! Told me they would not get paid and have to redo it. But yes he has been superb in the most horrific of times.

Any concrete leaving the plant below 2 degrees will have its ticket stamped... supplier basically saying no come backs.

Check this for all the pours, should also he taking cubes. 3 per pour is an industry standard.. 7 days, 28 days and a spare. This can be done on site or at the plant.

Hessian blankets are cheap in relation to 1m3 of concrete, no excuse for not having or using.

What finish is the concrete... tamp, brush, bullfloat, powerfloat?

I have had experience of cem111 concrete powdering the top in the past. Generally we only pour cem1 now as a rule.

Some photos of the job would be great.
