A few showers for western Scotland, but dry with sunshine in eastern Scotland, also Northern Ireland , elsewhere should stay dry western coasts and hill will be misty at times with a little drizzle High of 21C/ 70F in the south.

With Low pressure over central-southern Britain. Wet and cold in a swathe from south-west to north-east across England & Wales. The area of rain will drift slowly south-eastwards, with some heavy and persistent falls likely up to 40mm possible in places. The far south-east may stay dry until afternoon. Brisk northerly winds. Scotland, Northern Ireland & northern England will be dry with sunny spells. Highs of just 14C/57F so a cool day

Ridge of high pressure moves across Britain, bringing a day to many places with good sunny spells. Any rain from Saturday may affect the far south of England in the morning, but will clear. A fresh north-easterly wind will affect south-eastern coasts. Meanwhile, a freshening south-westerly will affect the north & west of Britain & Ireland, winds could be reaching gale force on some coasts and over the hills. Heavy Rain moves into western Scotland, Highs 15C/59F
