    Storm Downgraded!

    Latest on Storm Barbara;

    Storm Barbara as now been downgraded to a normal winter storm but still expect wet and very windy weather in to the north & west, with severe gales, with gusts to 70/80MPH and 90MPH over the high ground, the storm will also give heavy rain with local flooding, although the south the will miss the strongest of the winds, as the cold front moves through we could see a squall line when winds could gust up 80MPH for a short time even in the south. Highs of 13C/55F falling later.
    Severe weather warning is out for the North more at my website at; http://www.metjeffuk.com/severe-weather-centre.html

    That’s right strongest winds have move further north to Iceland with the jet stream and this is due to a block with the very cold air over Europe which seems likely to slowly move towards the UK after Christmas.
