We now cant escape inhaling or ingesting plastics, they are in the air, in the sea water and in the fish and mammels that live in the oceans and then that we eat, modern life?
Human brains now have 0.5% plastics by weight.

Microplastics have been found in arterial plaques. There was a study published recently where they monitored people’s plaques for microplastics. Three years later they found that those with detectable plaque microplastics had 4.5 times the mortality rate.

Although PFAS aren’t exactly strictly plastics…

Indeed, yet so many seem to think that 0.0412% of the atmosphere, a natural gas without which plant life and anything depending on plant life wouldn’t exist, is destroying the planet .
I do wonder if it’s diversionary tactics, the chemical industries saying ooooh look at this problem over here, taking the focus off more serious issues……. …..but I guess that makes me a conspiracy theorist

The latest
EA might as well not bother, they seem to love getting involved in anything to do with monitoring and sod all to do with actual work.
The latest Windermere revelations just about prove that theory …..
If i stretch my thought processes I can just about see where coastal dumping makes sense (tides etc) but dumping significant quantities of raw sewage into Peter Wabbit’s lake …… FFS 🤦🏻‍♂️
