Anybody else suffering worse than normal this year? I am thinking the warm weather has helped the larvae.
It seemed to be blowing a gale whenever we wanted to spray stubbles. We now have quite noticeable losses in Claydon drilled second wheats, where straw swaths were. I think next year it is a case of creating stale seedbeds as soon as the straw is cleared.
