Front axle stops and puncture

Have got a tractor in a awkward field with a flat front tyre.

Can lift front of tractor on front linkage so 2 options, either remove tyre or chock axle stops and drive to easier to get at place.

Is the latter possible?

Be easier to just whip the wheel off than mess about chocking it up ?
Means taking all the gear and another tractor to move wheel.
Where as lifting and chocking it could be driven to road for repair first thing tomorrow.

Guess if wheel is removed just as easy to take straight into repair

Also can’t see why the chock wouldn’t work depends how rough the field is too

Reminds me of when I was a child, hedge cutting chap called in as he had finished, had tea and settled the bill, returned to the tractor, front tyre flat.. he slewed the brusher behind, reached it out fully so the wheels were off the ground, got a block from behind the seat and chocked the one side, retracted the brusher and set off home! As he left dad said, I think he's done that before ?

This was a ford 6600 2wd and little actual weight on the front, but I'm guessing if you take it steady Youl be fine
