I was going to do the same thing but after pricing a loader up i decided to buy another th. Just not found one yet.thinking of slapping on a loader on a 6480 , haven’t got a clue of what manufacture or capaticy but it would mainly be bale cart and cover for the jcb if it brakes down , also will be on and off a fair bit.
Thanks
Funny we were thinking of buying another th until pricing one up !I was going to do the same thing but after pricing a loader up i decided to buy another th. Just not found one yet.
There are some th,s out there around the 10k mark and not to badly thrashed, that would do as a back up to the main machine on the farm, finding one is proving difficult, private sale off farm is the way to go.Funny we were thinking of buying another th until pricing one up !
Would a cheap camera setup not sort that issue? £50 odd would sort it & if you trashed it not the end of the world.Got a current quicke 6m on the 4220 here. looks quite strong and seems to go on and off ok but the levelling bars on top are far too fat and bulky and arch up. The opposite of what you want, totally getting in the way of seeing what the guy on the ground is trying to tell you as you get a guide into a pallet... You can't really see the forks yourself.. And this is supposed progress? That Hauer loader pyketts are selling needs a close look.
Quicke q55 is the size you want. 65 would give more reach but be clumsy looking sitting too far forward.thinking of slapping on a loader on a 6480 , haven’t got a clue of what manufacture or capaticy but it would mainly be bale cart and cover for the jcb if it brakes down , also will be on and off a fair bit.
Thanks
Nice set up, do you have to take loader off to access the side panels on the tractor?Put a loader on my 818 last summer. Have found it very useful and capable.View attachment 766420
