Front Loader Tractor

Hello,

Ive a NewHolland 8360 & McCormick MTX 140 but im torn between which one to get a front loader installed onto. personally Im leaning more towards the McCormick as it has nicer controls, front suspension and better steering lock.
The only concern was in regards to the front suspension, would the loader put to much pressure on it or do I put it on the NH that doesn't have front suspension. or on the other hand would be be stupid not to put on a tractor with front suspension to make it more comfortable when handling the loader?

Try help me decide, I want to hear your opinions.

Thanks.

I'd rather have front suspension on a loader tractor than not - even with soft ride, loading bales in fields has confirmed this for me down the years.
McCormick - decent loader & she'll be grand
Sometimes they need weight on the back though.

How is it not a powershuttle?
It has to do a mechanical 'range' change, which to my mind doesn't make it a powershuttle, where only clutch packs are needed, like a powershift. Power command might qualify, but still not as slick as a dyna 6, with dedicated F/R packs.

When under pressure buckraking with a TM, you'd get the odd slow direction shift that wasn't comfortable when your body was expecting otherwise. It seemed to be always when you were in a tricky spot.

As far as I know range command has a synchro for reverse, like it has for the change from A to B and B to C, hence the delay in getting reverse, even when you're already in B range.
A true power shuttle uses clutch packs not synchros.
It actually has a hydraulic cylinder robotically moving a selector fork for a sychro hub, as you say not a powershuttle plus it will only reverse in B range!!! So if you’re in C1 and change into reverse it’s mechanically moving the synchro from forward to reverse and downshifting the range from C to B everytime you change direction

I think the SLE or electro shift is the same, got to go to the newer Dynamic command for a true power shuttle or power command.
