Wouldn’t the pto be going the wrong way?My old neighbour just used to hook it on and drive it backward ( ie tractor was going forwards powerharrow on front being pushed)if I remember correctly.
Would it matter.may have to change blades so they going the right way.swap the left and right blades.Wouldn’t the pto be going the wrong way?
Maybe it wouldn’t , I would just be nervous in case the gear box along with the cam clutch on the pto was only designed to go one way. But I am definitely not an expert in these mattersWould it matter.may have to change blades so they going the right way.swap the left and right blades.
nick...
You maybe correct,I never thought of that but if I remember correctly in sure the discs in the clutch are probably multi directional.hopefully someone will be along to correct us.Maybe it wouldn’t , I would just be nervous in case the gear box along with the cam clutch on the pto was only designed to go one way. No because if its driven from behind then it's the same way as the front is still the front. If you were to put it on the other way ie roller infront of the tines it would be wrong but if you make a frame to pick it up from behind and drive it from the back it will be right. Our nieghbour runs a 4m kuhn on the front of his maize drill and seems to work well but wouldn't know the ins and outs of how its attachedWouldn’t the pto be going the wrong way?
