Front mounted subsoiler/mole drainer

I was thinking about making or buying a front mounted single legged subsoiler and using it when one passing winter crops to try and do away with the puddles of water on our heavy ground at this time of the year. Does such a thing exist? It would need to be auto reset and I wonder would it put much of a strain on the front linkage. I've seen tool carriers with subsoiler legs on the back before but I think you'd have more adjustment on the front when drilling if needed

Look at grange machinery
nick...

What would be the point in looking there?
They don’t make one.

McConnel used to make a Vibratilth version of their Shakearator which could be front mounted.

If you had asked me a year ago I would have been a mega sceptic and more negative than the next man

but I help Agriweld abit as they are over the hill and do a lot of for us and are good friends. I have been involved in the development of and demoing of there mantis front subsoiler and it has changed my mind completely. Give dean a ring at Agriweld he’ll tell you more and if you need auto reset it is available.

otherwise pm me and no I’m not on commission but I am storing one in my shed

cheers

Alistair
