I’m wondering on a t7 new Holland does the front pto need high revs to achieve 1000rpm or is it constant from start up? It’s just my rear mower is 540rpm and I’m buying a t7 with front pto and was wondering if I could drive it in 540e

We use a 1000rpm front topper with a 540rpm rear topper and there is no problem, just select standard 540rpm at the rear and both then work at the correct speed. Conversely with our front rake which has a gearbox that can deal with either input speed we use the 1000rpm input with a Welgar AP830 running on 540E so the rake runs at a gentle pace.

JD here & the std pto would have been 1000, 1000 eco & 540 eco.
I got 540 std instead of 1000 eco to do what you are wanting to do.
