Me too , total barstewardGood luck ,depends on age of it but last one I did needed serious heat and a 30 ton hydraulic puller to get it off.
Was an old machine though.
You do know that cog cost £800ish 15 or so years ago, goodness knows how much now?Don't fudge about trying to pull it off , cut it off
Ah yes , remember now . jesus it was difficult to get off , iirc we gassed 3 holes in the cog to get pullers on the front and pushers on the back , and tons of heat .You do know that cog cost £800ish 15 or so years ago, goodness knows how much now?
Similar here, , but used bottle jack backwards with a flat dar wielded to the bottom, then wrapped chains around the spokes up to the bar plenty of heat and a bit of luck.Last one we did we used a 20t bottle jack with two pieces of threaded bar and a bridge piece the jack pressed on the shaft and the threaded bar attached to the sprocket still need a lot of heat aswell but did come off
