Going to make a a weight/tool box for ploughing etc. current box is a bit heavy with not enough storage.

i am sure there were pictures on here of someone who had made one to fit the linkage when it was folded up, i would be very greatful if someone could point me the right direction. ive searched the workshop projects section top to bottom and come up with nothing.

just wanting to see how the actual brackets the arms hook onto were done.

thanks!

that looks good. (y) did you make the box yourself?
the diagrams i have (in my head) are similar to yours, maybe a bit deeper, and strong enough to have 600kg of cast iron in the bottom with tools on top.box similar to yours with the brackets on an L shape frame should do the job.. i hope.

And does it just but up against the lower part, i.e. Only connected with the 2 link points

Yep, it sits against the very bottom of the arms. going to glue on a rubber strip when its painted. even empty it takes quite a bit of force to swing it forward, with a bit of weight in it i would doubt itll ever move too far. it wouldnt be hard to make a wee bracket and pin it onto the spare holes on the bottom of the link arms if its a problem.
