I know,cooped up in the house resigned to the fact that I’m not going to get much done on a rare dry day and it’s going to be horrendous tomorrow!
Tempting isn't it. But with no livestock I can't find an excuse to go out. What other industry would even consider working Christmas day cos the weather is nice ?

No frost here. It'll take at least 10 days of dry weather before even considering field work.

Just been out with the dog across the fields ,its frosty and cold but i dont think it would take much to break the crust .

Been across the field with the loadall to feed the sheep early this morning...it was a decent frost but not enough to stop the loadall marking
Told myself the same....
I had booked Herself to move an electric fence and the Sucklers, although they did not take any moving..... FOOD!!!!! So they were happy to be out today, and not sheltering all day in a shed. Like us really...

Same here nice and dry didn’t make a mark. Filled four rings up with silage. Minus 2.5C here overnight.

Took dog out at 9.30, she can't quite understand why the puddles are hard on top.
Family lower down in the village used to like taking out slurry mixed with silage effluent out on xmas day, it's a wonder they had any milk customers after that.

Dried up a treat overnight in this frost , but only made the yard clean and dry , if go in fields you would fall straight through it
