We've just done a 30 mile trip and they're still frozen.

Are they frozen or blocked with salt residue then. Just leave engine running a bit, then up your concentrate in washer bottle.

Just done a 70 mile round trip with what must be 50/50 screen wash in the washer. I was having to stop every few miles and throw snow on the windscreen. 50% used to be sufficient dilution. Now I see from thje label it needs to be neat and that only protects down to minus 6, so bloody useless in the Highlands!

On a serious note could you purchase some boiling water from a service station and thaw them out with that. Or use more concentrate washer fluid in future.

I'd a mk4 golf with heated washers.

How cold is it with you? Was -7 here this morning.

Lidl washer fluid neat works down to -15 and beyond. If you leave the engine idling the heat will eventually thaw them. It's the wind chill which freezes them.
