What do people use to get fuel to there combine are old bowser is getting past its best so looking to change has any one got a tank in the back of a pickup? Is would mean anyone could bring fuel out and not have to have a trailer license.

They do look smart just wanting to know if there there it a way of doing it without it being trailed.
Get a purpose designed low and flattish plastic one if its going to spend most its life back of the truck. Something like a Cemo, Titan or Emiliana Serbatoi. It will be lighter with lower centre of gravity, easier to move about and doesn't really need the extra security and protection a metal skinned tank provides. They'll also be setup with pumps and hoses and have lids to stow it all away securely.

On the other hand if it was to be towed or a standalone cube to be left in the field I would go for a metal skinned unit like a Western or FuelProof.

Your ADR limit on the road in either case would be under 1000 litres of fuel.

I bought one from Spaldings, only 300ltr mind but we put a hit in the combine every morning and then when it eventually gets down I put 2 1/2 hits in and it's full, simple easy refueling, much better than the constant haul up the steps with 25lr barrels with all the contamination issues etc etc, sits in the back of the truck nicely and when empty you can lift it out on your own.

Having got our old fuel bowser out for harvest its past its best!
Looking for a bowser/tank that will go in double cab pickup. Then removes need for tailer test!
1m x 1.5m to fit between wheels. Needs 3.5m hose minimum.

Been looking at Titan 900 Truckmaster.
Is there anything else similar outhere? ADR approved!
What about filtration?
Our main tank has a filter but been told can't fit one on delivery hose from truckmaster. Will it be ok without?
Thanks for replies!

ive fitted a cimtek filter to a 12v pump before, ran fine. Im sure you could fit one on a truckmaster hose

my pickup knows its got the 450l truckmaster on, a full 900 would be interesting. I know people carry full ibcs in pickups but it does alter the handling considerably
