So what is the "Surcharge" in those quotations ??
As I said above only ever bought derv with it, no surcharge on that where I've used it. Some supermarkets will charge higher than pump price for using card which O4W do warn against doing, have a list at home saying which and by how much.

Why is there such a variation in pump prices on Derv

My Fuel card this week £1.26 Asda Pump £1.27 Esso £1.39 , Shell about the same , but seen some Esso as low as £1.34 , Shell Seem the dearest on average

I applied for a fuel card , it was like an interogation from the Stazi,
When asked to provide id.
Bank letter, utilty bill, HMRC correspondence, drivers licence, birth certificate all apparently not proof enough.
I think a DNA sample, and maybe finger prints are also not deemed sufficient

The FuelGenie (supermarket fuel) card we use has no monthly fee, it’s just charged at the pump price. The only real advantage is that I get to download the invoice, rather than have to continually chase up Mrs NeilO for them.
I agree. Often fuel cards don’t work out much cheaper (if at all) by the time you’ve added the surcharges and card fees on.
they only really work well if your doing allot of litres a week to make it stack up, like with lorry’s or something. for a couple cars I’d of said it’s not worth the hassle, just use a FuelGenie card and download the invoice.
