Fuel consumption

Hi guys, been a while since ivee posted.

Could you all help me out with a little side project?

Tractor, loader, Self Propelled and combine fuel consumptions.

What machine, how much an hour, and how many hours in a year.

Please and thank you [emoji173]️

My Sprayranger seems to be (almost) as good as the famous fendt on fuel. New Holland TMs when working hard are borderline alcoholics however.

Basically throwing together a research paper for my own satisfaction and boredom while to and fro to hospital.

Using the real world data provided by actual farmers operators, and end users, to try and show that companies restricting vehicle output with ridiculous emissions regulations, would be better spent looking at reducing fuel consumption per hour/acre then limiting use ability with ridiculous add ons that end up costing in the long run

Not sure if they are any worse than anything else tbh, I’ve a SISU that can slug like Alex Higgins when it has to.

I've just an old '92 Same 90 turbo - 27 hours roughly between fills, and takes 75-80 litres to top up.
Have done 61 hours in the past year, 84 the year before that, 115 the year before that (topping and some covercrops went in, which is the difference in hours, otherwise just mowing and feeding silage on 100 ac

2 litres of diesel per acre is about as low as I can get it - I use a contractor for chopping and drawing the silage.
