Quoted 39p for heating oil and 51.73p for diesel today. Desperate for oil so ordered that but held off on the red, might shop about, that had not dropped as much since my last order!

still holding on as oil now 50 $ a barrel so red has a bit more to fall

Just keep half an eye on upcoming budget, some tax on red diesel might be seen as easy revenue and environmentally favourable....so good time to fill tank. 53p 3000 litres ordered this week , usual local supplier quoted 58!!!

I do likewise. Too many things on my radar to be able to think ahead with everything.

Though I try not to wait until the tank is dry........low perhaps would be my choice of word rather than empty. It has been known to happen on occasion though!
