Who was that?
Had quotes from nwf, rock oil, star, and county oil.
had 2 @ 44p [email protected] and 1@47
watching this with interest, no expert but thinking quotes should be lower than they are and suppliers having a giggle at our expense.

Rang up Tuesday morning, red 49p did not order, kero 39p, just ordered 1000 l as short but will order more as it falls, I was told demand is keeping the price up, panic buying, why are house holds filling there tanks on expensive oil going into the summer months is beyond my rational thinking.

I ring every week and they say the panic will abate and prices will fall, the panic buying keeps going. MVF saying 3 weeks for delivery!

Opposite problem here today.
Red I ordered at 41.85ppl yesterday for delivery Friday came today.
Tank could only hold 2/3rds of what I’d ordered!

cheapest quote I had was 43p for red, couldn't be delivered till middle of next week, MVF are all over the shop with prices, sometimes cheapest sometimes dearest, like a lot of MVF departments they have a smart arse as main salesman who thinks he's a player

really don't know why people still use them, bit of shopping round, you can get most stuff cheaper, and delivered, all right if you need something quick, as long as you don't ask to many questions. Best thing we did was having a fall out with them, we were right, they were wrong, they threatened, and ended up paying our legal costs, on top of theirs, just stupid.
