Might help if tanker pipe had red from previous delivery, it surprise you how much it would hold, if it had 50litres of red, that be 10% of your delivery. Red burns hotter

They will usually swap the feed going into the meter 100 litres before the end of the delivery, to what ever is the next drop is, so to flush out whatever is in the pipe, so theoretically you get what you ask for.

They plan Todo that, but if previous customer ordered 1000L, driver noticed tank nearly full at only 800L before switched fuel

And followed it up with a call to a local supplier. 35p/litre for delivery at the end of the week. Just goes to show it's worth sticking local.

Bill came today for this - I'd got the tank filled, which was about 350 litre more than originally quoted against. Seriously impressed that they reduced the cost to 34.75 from the original 35ppl. Well done to Simpson Oils for that.
