Boiler Juice giving 38.14 for Kero on a 1000 , Normally get a little bit better from a Local Supplier as they fetch it for Boiler Juice anyway.

Theres been a Patterson's Tanker knocking about I've never seen before ,Googled them and they are based by the refinery in Ellesmere Port, an Irish Firm it seems. They come in slightly cheaper than Boiler Juice.

RAC predicting oil to hit $100/barrel by early next year:

Petrol could reach 143p per litre with diesel costing 148p per litre, the RAC said.

This is based on the price of a barrel of oil hitting 100 US dollars (£72.20), which investment bank JP Morgan has said is a possibility in 2022.

Drivers have already been hit by a £4 increase in the cost of filling up a typical 55-litre family petrol car since December.

Government figures show the average price of a litre of petrol is 121p per litre, while diesel stands at 125p per litre, following rises for 13 consecutive weeks.

The price of a barrel of oil has increased by 20 US dollars (£14.40) in the past three months to around 64 US dollars (£46.20).

Some analysts predict oil could reach 80 US dollars (£57.75) this year, which the RAC said would lead to petrol prices of 130p per litre, with diesel at 135p per litre.

The impact on forecourt prices will be even worse if the pound fails to maintain its recent strong exchange rate with the dollar.

There is also speculation that fuel duty could be hiked in Chancellor Rishi Sunak’s Budget on March 3.

Already seeing 10ppl on red since December to 52ppl now

From your quote, RAC aren't predicting $100 oil, JP Morgan are (and RAC are predicting 143p petrol if it does).

They're basing the petrol price rise on a static £/$ exchange rate too, which I can't see - I reckon the £ is going to rise a bit and take some of the sting out of the petrol price, but also make our exports less lucrative.

Any thoughts on if the price of diesel will stop climbing? Seriously regretting not locking in at 49p/l in early January for harvest requirement

It won't imo. They got caught out with stocks last year but now I think it will go same way as fags and alcohol and be a constant upward trend to the highest we can stand

Got a few quotes today,

2000l gas oil

crown oil 57.50 (was en 590)
tate 53.50 (local supplier)
Rix 52.40
Certas 51.39

obviously went with certas...

to be fair i usually have to haggle with certas and give them a competitors quote to meet, she was honest and said i can see your a 'keen buyer' (they obviously note that you get them to price match) so gave best quote first time with no haggle!

38.2 Kero this morning for 1000 from Wirral.

£1.179 Diesel at Costco yesterday. Risen sharply but still cheaper than the cheapest pumps locally.

Ordered 200l kero from Peak at 39.5. I tried to ring Certas but after navigating their new phone system, where you have to keep pressing numbers and then they didn't answer so I gave up on them. I've used Emo Oil/Certas for many years but I have given up on them for now. Why do firms "improve" their systems when they used to work well?
